I skipped exercising tonight for a few reasons. The last two days at work have been long and grueling. I needed a break. I actually needed to run out of my classroom early due to a therapy session.

I am not really seeing the point of the sessions any longer. I have my letter, and we never seem to discuss anything else of note. Instead, we diverge into subjects of the writing order. My therapist is a bit of a writer herself, and is curious about my (few) stories. If we're going to continue that conversation, I'd rather do that without having to pay $110 an hour...

I also splurged again on iced coffee, and the dreaded soda today. The former certainly helped with my seemingly chronic morning mental fogginess, but it was at the expense of 200 needless calories. The soda was caffeine free, but resulted in a slight sugar crash and nausea near dinner. Despite the comforting taste of my favorite beverage, it has proved once again that it is my enemy. I will attempt to due with only a glass of cranberry juice in the morning and water for my fluids tomorrow.

I'll also be back to exercising tomorrow. I've got to get back on schedule.
