So, I'm dumping the content manager that I spend nearly two years writing. Replacing it is Drupal 4.7. Of course, I couldn't just use one of the stock themes that come with the software.

CityLights2 fixes a lot of the problems of the old design. It's a bit easier to read, and still maintains it's electric, cyberpunk feel. Although it doesn't quite look like it, the design is actually an implementation of the "Holy Grail" design as created by A List Apart. The trick was to convince the theme to accept a visual design that gave a somewhat different impression while retaining the funcationality of the Holy Grail design.

I think it turned out well.
