When?

I was browsing through the fanart section of Venus Envy one evening, and decided that it was all much too happy for my taste.

So, I decided to whip together a piece of fan art of my own -- with my own dark slant on things.

The art was sketched by hand with a .5 mechanical pencil, shaded just as so and with a charcoal pencil. Then it was colored in photoshop.

In all, it took some three hours to draw, color, and publish the piece. There are more than a few errors in it, mostly proportion. But I feel the emotion is spot on.
