Deninet Wiki

Welcome to the a denizen's entertainment wiki!

What's this all about?

Since the launch of deninet 2.0 years ago, the purpose of the site has always been to be a place for me to put my projects. This could be documentation, actual material, or simply thoughts I've posted to a blog. Throughout all of it, there's been a need to have an organized way to store definable terms. This could be the name of a project, or of a character, or something else tossed about the site that may need a more through explaination. I was hoping the Internet Idea Database would be the answer to that problem, but it had many problems itself. The Wiki concept fits well with this need. Thankfully Drupal has many modules that provide wiki-like behavior.

Ok, fine. What's are the rules around here?

The idea is to create a database of definable terms, not unlike that of Wikipedia. This wiki, however, doesn't have the same stringant rules as Wikipedia, either. Citations are encouraged, but not required. There's no silly rules about Subject Matter Experts or whatever. As long as it pertains to the site, it's fair game. At the moment, only site administrators and "trusted" users are allowed to edit and add pages to the wiki. We're sorry, but that's how it is. All registered users are allowed to post comments, of course.

How do I find all the wiki terms about a particular subject?

The wiki pages are interlinked with the site's book mechanism. The domain of these books is flat -- that is, there are more books about a particular category than a huge tree of nested books. This makes it easier to browse and understand. Also try searching by Taxonomy.
