++Reincorporated States (RINC) are located from Hudson Bay to Great Lakes. Citizens nick-named "Rinks."

+++Associated States: Smaller independent states that resemble the RINC form of government than not.

++Zakiri government is the "Zakiri Pantropist Collectives." ZPC are more of a collection of loosely connected city states that hold to an idea more than a government. There are six major "conferences" (Cities and environs) and thousands of small collectives. There are many "flavors" of Zakiri ideology. Nick-named "Zeeks," which the RINCs use as an insult.

+++Zakkiriyyah: Philosophy that replaces the Nation-State with a group of common people working for a common good, living the life they want to live, with like minded people, independent of government and coporate economics. Advocate genetic engineering to adapt to hostile environments.

+++Central Conference: ZPC's largest city in the Southwest Central area of the former United States. Large city, one of the few economically tied to other cities due to it's large population. Being non-centralized much of it's military and decision making are done by large networked consensus, which takes time, is usually right, but somewhat complicated to administer.
+++Other Conferences Are: The Pacific Conference, the Gulf Conference (which is also very big), the Northern Conference, The Western Conference and the Eastern Conference

++Zoners: Independent and purposely isolated city-states.

++The Collapse: A combination of social and natural disasters about thirty years ago that "cracked the world" breaking large nations into city-states.

++Regional Authorities: Coprorate stabilized cities created after The Collapse. Many thrived, most crumbled merging with other communities.

++Gafanna means "Contrary" in Amharic. Possible settled by Ethiopian American Survivors

++Zakiri have facial markings, used as a quick read of who and what this person "is" (due to all the genetic engineering). Dana's face markings are a condition of her service to the Zakiri. They read as "Community Defender - Outsider - Trusted" to the Zakiri who can read them. Would the poisoning be necessary with the branding? Try to reconcile the two, as a brand wouldn't keep her from escaping.

++Dana's facemarking shows her as a trusted outsider, and city defender. However, her obvious disrespect to the Zakiri Uniform, her RINC style hair braids prove that she misses home and may want to go back. In tandem with the markings, she's a city defender that may leave when it suits her. She is called Tarhee, which means Traitor. But not because they see her as a traitor to the RINC (although she may percieve it as such, when she finds out), but because they expect her to betray THEM. Consider this angle, but it may soften up the Zakiri too much. Maybe have more hardline Zakiri calling her Traitor to the Rincs, and more tolerant as "You might betray us" definitions?
